Question by Val E: I am looking for ways to save money on essentials food ect?
Please help I know the basics clip coupons watch for sales food banks ect ect. But I need help beyond that. I don’t have a home or car so I don’t need advice in those areas, ( wish I did) I need need help getting the BASICS Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks=)

We’ve had potluck type meals with friends & family in our neighborhoods over the years. They’re a great way to eat on a budget and try different foods all in one.
Get together with your community & have everyone just bring a 2 qt. size dish of whatever they want. Make sure that you know in advance so there won’t be double dishes.
You can also try each person spending a small amount of cash on some ingredients for a large or expensive dish like lasagna. That way everybody get a large enough helping without spending a lot of money.

We love doing these get togethers, but people aren’t too friendly where we live at the moment. Hope your neighbors are though.
