How Can I Help My Friend With a Sex Addiction?
Question by [email protected]: How can I help my friend with a sex addiction?
I have this friend who constantly obsesses over sex, nudity, pornography, etc. Pretty much anything to do with sex. He realizes he has a problem, which is good, but doesn’t really know how to solve it. He has gotten himself into trouble before by asking complete strangers to shower with him at a campsite. Also he has peeked inside a girls change room before. He is an adult now, and I’m afraid that if he doesn’t get this addiction under control, he could eventually get himself into legal trouble. What do I do?

you need to get him to understand that his obsession is distorting his thinking …and that if he doesn’t get therapy and/or medication, his distorted thinking will make him do something that can cause him to lose his freedom ( jail ) and his future….Sex is great, but something other than sex itself is driving his actions ….get him to seek help.
