Question by aya e: I live in Westport, Washington and I want to find an addiction treatment center. Can anybody help me?
A very close friend of mine wants to get herself away from drugs. She’s tried going cold turkey, but the withdrawal symptoms were too much for her to bear. She has just recently acquiesced to getting treatment. Help please.

You should look through the yellow pages to find contact numbers of centers near your area. Having a healthcare provider assess the condition of your friend would also be very beneficial, as this would help you decide what kind of treatment your friend needs. You can also ask a doctor to give you recommendations.

Good luck!
