    Excellent Video! Thanks for sharing

I was a scared crow and all my friends used to tease me like anything.
I was feeling low confident and low self-esteem.

My brother introduced me to this “no fear” mobile app by lokesh , which
made me manage. my fears in a very methodical way and now because of this
my fears are reducing one by one .

I am much more confident and people are amazed at me!?

@kev3445 Hey I hope you found some good tips on how to overcome social
    anxiety on my blog.

  • Get Over Social Anxiety says:

It looks like benzos are not working for you. I think you should first talk
to the doctor who prescribed benzos to you and present your case. CBT and
NLP are great but if you’re already dependent on medications you should
first consult with your doctor about the medications you’re on and if it’s
safe to get off them. You’ll also find out if you need to take something
else. However in the long run I’d suggest some kind of therapy …either
CBT, NLP or something else. Hope this helps.

CBT is probably the biggest scam since hypnosis. If you have a mind of your
own and critical thinking skills, it won’t work for social anxiety. That
shit only works for people who readily accept any information thrown at
them. It’s mostly useful for people who are really dense, naive or
gullible. If you don’t possess those qualities, don’t waste your money!

I had social phobia and I kinda still do, but it has mild down a lot,
thanks to my dad who forced me to talk on the phone for him because he
can’t speak English. Yes, I was scared of talking on the phone and I would
throw quite a tantrum like. I ended up forcing to talk on the phone with
energy company, phone company, internet company, IRS (yes IRS), and a whole
lot more. At least, now I can even present in front of more than 30 ppl.
    All without medication 🙂

he is very handsome but I like what he has to say too.

  • Octavio says:

This is actually completely true. CBT just uses a Westernized version of
the Buddhist philosophy of mind-body duality. It is a spiritual practice
disguised as a legitimate form of treatment. Do not waste money on this. It
is akin to attempting to meditate yourself out of low self-esteem. It
really makes no sense. I have honestly never come across anything
therapeutically helpful for SA other than medication or a drug of some
sort. Anxiety is extremely genetic- and chemically based.

thanks a lot.. I wonder why I felt weird. I am 25 and I am suffering from
it. I was thinking why I am so different from my family.

  • Cole Davis says:

Medication can play an important role in treating social anxiety, depending
on the patient and the particular drug used. For some, it’s useless. For
others, it may be part of a broader regimen including hard work, therapy
and the program you’re advertising. I’m leaving this comment because I
don’t want anyone with social anxiety to prematurely rule out any of their
options. Overall, though, I enjoyed the video and thought you were a great
    speaker.

  • Get Over Social Anxiety says:

@getoversocialanxiety The only problem of self-help programs is that you
have to stick to the program even if you have a bad day and want to quit.
That’s probably the main reason why people fail to complete the programs.
But it’s pretty much the same with seeing a therapist. If you don’t want to
share and you’re not serious, the sessions can’t be as effective as they
    could be.
