Wow. I have also done this project not long ago. What i included in my powerpoint was that what type of drugs are legal and what types aren’t, you can also compare some drugs. For example which of these drugs does more damage to your body and how it affects your body. One last thing is that, talk about around which age people start to using drugs, and how often.

Question by ashlie dh: Can someone give me an overview of how a drug treatment is supposed to be like?
I mean, guidelines or principles that a drug treatment program must abide by. Surely there are stuff such as this so that they’ll know how to handle different cases. I would just like to know them. Thanks.

I am so sorry for your drastic loss!!

That number seem high, so unless it was a fluke, I think methadone might be particularly too casually accepted, overprescribed and misunderstood by the medical community in your area. It’s reputation for years had been as almost a wonder drug, a safe(r) alternative to illegal drugs and drug dependency, and that may be a factor.

Can a Patient Be Turned in for Alcohol And/or Drug Abuse?

Question by wOW ReALLY: Can a patient be turned in for alcohol and/or drug abuse?
Can a doc turn his patient in for alcohol or drug abuse to the police or social services?

No. It is their job to diagnose you and to treat you in any way possible. It is a good thing to mention to your doctor if you had recently consumed or used any form of alcohol or drug to help with diagnosis, but they legally cannot turn you in as it is part of their doctor-patient confidentiality guidelines.
